Itinerary in the hamlets of Lozet-Autagnas and Soubras

Path: The path starts and arrives at refuge La Chardouse. Going out from the village of Vazon (1650 m) follow the signs to “Lozet – Desertes”. It starts in a path that cross the dirty road coming from Vazon, continues to go up on the left
Follow the signs “Lozet”, the path goes down and then continues up on the mountain through a pine and larch wood until the little village of Lozet (1746 m) located on a spectacular balcony to the Chaberton mountain.
Lozet presents lots of houses with the original wood shingles roof.
Follow the sign on the left to “Desertes”, after the fountain. This part of the path is a little bit difficult for the presence of a lot of rocks. Continue the path near some isolated ruined houses that are interesting from the architectural point of view and follow the sign “Autagnas” (1676 m). Cross it and do not miss the little church, then continue to go down the rocked path on the left side and follow the sign “Soubras – Vazon “ Some yellow signs on the trees guide you to Soubras (1477m ). In the little village do not miss the fountain and then take left, follow the sign “Vazon”.
Curiosity: there is a nice church dedicated to Saint Barnabas located where a roman necropolis was found.
