The village of Beaulard is located at the valley floor along the river Dora di Bardonecchia at 1.175 m above sea level. It is part of the Oulx Municipality from 1928, when the autonomous municipality was abolished. The railway station connects it to the railway line Turin-Bardonecchia.The Romanic Saint Michael Archangel Church is valuable (1210 m above sea level), and one of the oldest in the Susa High Valley, probably dated back of the eleven -century. The bell tower, the fifteen-century frescoes, the ancient apse transformed in main entrance, the stoned baptismal font, the wooden chorus and a lectern of the seventeen-century are some of the interesting elements of the church. In Beaulard was born Joseph Chalier one of the protagonists of the French Revolution who died on gallows in 1793
